Receiving The Kingdom (Part 1)

Hebrews 12:26-29 (NASB) reads: < 26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire. >

The prophetic key to our navigating the times ahead of us is for us each to receive the Kingdom of GOD – which cannot be shaken.

By receiving the Kingdom: we can live in the government, economy and spheres of influence of the Kingdom that opens to us, through creative processes of our salvation – in CHRIST JESUS [see Eph 2:10; 2 Cor 5:17-18a] by the HOLY SPIRIT [see Rom 8:2].

While things on the earth have been shaken and will continue to be shaken, until the return of the LORD JESUS CHRIST to establish the Kingdom of GOD on earth, we the Body of CHRIST have been given the capacity to receive the Kingdom of GOD and be able to operate in the Kingdom of GOD.

YESHUA declares that the reality of the Kingdom of GOD is opened in our inward parts [see Luke 17:20-21, NKJV] and it stands in our midst [see Luke 17:20-21, NASB].

There are personal and corporate realities to function in the Kingdom of GOD. The corporate flows out of the personal.

In Matthew 13:10-17, JESUS the MESSIAH declares that the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven have been opened to us who have persevered by faith to receive and actualize the seeing eye and the hearing ear from GOD [see Prov 20:12, NASB]: < 10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given [see Luke 11:9-13]. 12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him [see Mark 4:20-25; 13-25]. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand [see Hebrews 11:6, 3a; Rom 10:17, NKJV]. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘ Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’ 16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. >

We receive the Kingdom of GOD through a new birth. YESHUA declares [in John 3:3, NASB] : < 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” >

We are also called to enter the Kingdom of GOD and to operate [see Matt 21:43] in the Kingdom through our birth in water and the SPIRIT.

In John 3:5 [NASB], YESHUA declares: < 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. >

The reality of the Kingdom of GOD, which YESHUA declared as being in us and amongst us, stands in something called the Witness’ that we have received in and through the new birth.

1 John 5:10a, [NKJV] declares: < 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself. > The Witness arises in the functional dynamic of a new spirit and a new heart that we have received in and through a new birth [see Eze 36:26].

The Witness we receive through the new birth is described as being Spirit, Water and Blood [in 1 John 5:8 NKJV; John 19:30, 34]. This is the Witness of JESUS CHRIST that connects us each to Him – both singularly and collectively; and, defines us as a functioning Body of MESSIAH.

We are born again in the Seed of the Word of GOD [see 1 Peter 1:23], opened in us as the Seed of CHRIST [see Gal 3:16].

In the Seed of CHRIST is embedded – by promise through faith [the seed of faith – see Matt 17:20; see also 2 Cor 1:20] – the prophetic foreshadowing proclaimed in the Seed of Abraham [see Gen 22:16-18] and the Seed of David [see Ps 89:3-4; 34-37, NKJV].

In the implanted Seed of the Word, germinated into a new spirit and a new heart [see Eze 36:26], Colossians 1:13 [NASB] declares: < 13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. >

The reference to the Kingdom of GOD as the Kingdom of the BELOVED SON points to both the Abrahamic root [see Gen 22:14; Ps 24:3-4; 15:1-2] and the Davidic root [see Isaiah 9:6-7] of the Kingdom of GOD, in and through the BELOVED [see Matt 3:17; 17:5].

As Ephesians 1:3-14 [NASB] declares: < 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, 12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation–having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. >

This is the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of GOD [see Rev 3:14b, NASB] that stands in us and amongst us – in the BELOVED, in Spirit, Water and Blood – so that we operate from heavenly places that stand in the Kingdom of Heaven and navigate the times, while positioned in the secret place of the MOST HIGH GOD [see Ps 24:3-4 + Ps 15:1-2 = Ps 91:1 = Gen 22:14 = Eph 1:3-6], under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY [see Ps 91:1]. Amen!
