Becoming A Bride For The LAMB (Part 5)

JESUS CHRIST, the LAMB of GOD, is actively pursuing a Bride for Himself from the midst of a fallen mankind that He has redeemed from the curse of sin and death [Gal 3:13; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Rom 8:2].

YESHUA is actively sanctifying and cleansing a ‘body of disciples[Matt 28:18-20] redeemed from the curse of sin and death, so that a Bride – holy and blameless – will stand before Him.

This Bride will be the product of His faith and love actualized [by grace in the inward parts of the Bride] through a washing of renewal and regeneration by the HOLY SPIRIT [Titus 3:5-7] with “the washing of water by the [Rhema] Word [Eph 5:26-27].

YESHUA’s faith establishes the Law [Rom 3:21-22, KJV; Rom 3:31] through the communication of the substance of His fullness [John 1:16-17, NASB/NKJV] into us; and, YESHUA’s love actualized in a heart of flesh fulfills the Law [Rom 13:14, 10; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV].

His faith and love, communicated and manifested through the Testimony of JESUS expressed in the finished work of the Cross, is being brought into being in His Bride, by the HOLY SPIRIT [John 16:14].

This communication of YESHUA’s fullness comes into being through a washing of renewal and regeneration by the HOLY SPIRIT [Titus 3:5-7]. This washing of renewal and regeneration unfolds through “the washing of water by the [Rhema] Word [Eph 5:26-27]unfolding a spotless and blameless Bride, in fulfillment of the Law [Rom 8:2] in a heart of YESHUA’s flesh [2 Cor 3:3, NKJV; Ex 31:18; 32:16].

Scripture tells us that through His willing sacrifice, YESHUA became the LAMB that takes away the sins of the world [John 1:26-36; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV; 2 Cor 5:21].

All four Gospels describe the LAMB’s sacrifice in fulfillment of what is written in the Law [see Leviticus 1-7, 23; Numbers 28-29] and the Prophets [see Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53].

Hebrews 10:4-23 [NASB] points to YESHUA’s atoning sacrifice in the following words: < 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5 Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, “Sacrifice and offering You have not desired, But a body You have prepared for Me; 6 In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure. 7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (In the scroll of the book it is written of Me) To do Your will, O God.'” 8 After saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the Law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second. 10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,” He then says, 17 “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 18 Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin.

19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place [KJV/NKJV: ‘enter the holiest’] by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful >.

The Book of Hebrews points to four realities in which YESHUA actively ministers to us so that we can become a spotless and blameless Bride:

i.        In Hebrews 3:1, YESHUA is proclaimed as the Apostle and High Priest of our confession

ii.        In Hebrews 7:25, YESHUA is proclaimed as the One who ever lives to intercede for us

iii.        In Hebrews 9:15, YESHUA is proclaimed to be the Mediator of the New Covenant

iv.        In Hebrews 12:2, YESHUA is proclaimed as the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Ephesians 5:25-32 points to the highest purpose of YESHUA’s ministry, the active pursuit and creation [Eph 2:10; 2 Cor 5:17-18a] of His Bride: < 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. >

We need a revelation of this passage from Ephesians to be manifested in a circumcised heart of flesh in our inner man. From this passage, we can understand [see Heb 11:3a; Prov 9:10b, NASB] several things that are necessary ingredients to us becoming a Bride for the LAMB. These ingredients are GOD-given realities [revealed realities – Deut 29:29; Mark 4:22] that we should actively pursue in prayer [asking, seeking and knocking, by the SPIRIT; see Luke 11:9-13] with a view to actualizing [through His substance actualized] an understanding [that comes about in substance through faith authored and finished by YESHUA; see Heb 11:3a; 12:2a] that knows the HOLY ONE [see Prov 9:10b, NASB]:

The First Revelation

The first revelation we need to receive and develop in our inward parts is the reality that YESHUA loves the Church and gave Himself for her.

YESHUA’s gift of Himself [communicating His fullness – John 1:16-17, NASB/NKJV] to us is the exclusive basis to becoming His Bride. It follows that what YESHUA has given us we must receive and actualize in a heart of flesh. The result is a GOD-given understanding that knows the HOLY ONE.

This knowing comes out of the substance of YESHUA actualized by faith in Him [Heb 11:1, KJV/NKJV] – through the grace that YHWH has chosen to lavish us with [see John 1:16-17, NASB; Eph 2:8-10; 1:4-8, NASB]. This knowing in substance is given through a heart of His flesh [2 Cor 3:3, NKJV].

This heart of flesh carries the Covenant that YHWH has given through the gift of the SON. This heart of flesh is of the fullness of the SON, manifested in a heart of flesh that is the exclusive work of the HOLY SPIRIT. This heart of flesh will one day be consecrated into a Marriage Union, where two hearts become one flesh.

We need the FATHER to give us a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, so that we each receive (from the FATHER’s Heart) this “inexplicable” reality [which is the Mystery] of CHRIST’s love for us. Ephesians 3:19 [NASB] declares that the Mystery of CHRIST’s love surpasses our knowledge forms and is the conduit by which we actualize the fullness of GOD in the Temple of our being [see John 14:23; Rev 21:9-11, 23]: < 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. >

We actualize YESHUA’s love by the SPIRIT’s work in our inward parts [see John 16:14; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV]. This work in our inward parts, that revolves around the creation of a circumcised heart of [YESHUA’s] flesh [John 6:51], involves prayer by the SPIRIT that objectively pursues the revelation of the BELOVED [see Eph 1:17-23].

The revelation of the BELOVED from the FATHER’s Heart is the only means by which we develop and grow to become the Tabernacle of David [the Dwelling Place of YESHUA, the BELOVED].

The Tabernacle of David takes form in us and amongst us in the Root of David [as we are rooted in YESHUA, the BELOVED; Rev 22:16], as the Offspring of David [as we grow and develop as the fruit of YESHUA’s Body – see Ps 132:11-12, 7-18], having the Key of David [the Key of YESHUA, the BELOVED, in which stand the Keys of the Kingdom; see Matt 16:17-19; Rev 3:7-10], so that the Horn of David [see Ps 137:17, 11-17; the glory of YESHUA the BELOVED] will arise in us and amongst us, as we each unfold as the Dwelling Place of the BELOVED, giving us a dwelling place of rest [Ps 46:10-11] and refuge [Ps 91:1-2, 9], where we grow and develop [Gen 22:14; Ps 24:3-5; Ps 15:1-2] to become the Bride of the LAMB.

The Horn of David, speaks of the glory of the inward anointing [the life-giving Spirit of JESUS CHRIST – see 1 Cor 15:45 + Phil 1:19c] that communicates the strength, the power and the authority of YESHUA as we actualize the reality of Him as our BELOVED in our inward parts. The Horn of David is the unction of Kingdom Government that a Bride is predestined to stand in:

i.       2 Cor 5:21 [NKJV] declares: < 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. > YESHUA became sin on our behalf so that in Him and through Him we might [actualize in our being the fullness of JESUS CHRIST (John 1:16, NASB/NKJV/KJV) and] become the righteousness of YHWH [through what we progressively actualize of the substance and witness of JESUS CHRIST].

ii.    Isa 53:4-7 [NASB] declares: < 4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. 6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; like a lamb that is led to slaughter, and like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, so He did not open His mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered that He was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? > All the issues afflicting our inward parts [our spiritual condition] have been dealt with by Him [in Him and through Him]. And, we can actualize this freedom from sin and death and come to love YESHUA as the be all and end all of our lives, our BELOVED.

iii.    Ephesians 1:3-11, 22-23 [NASB] declares some of the awesome and incredible outcomes that YHWH has predestined for us – in CHRIST JESUS: < 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will …. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. >

The Second Revelation

The second revelation that we need is the reality of YESHUA sanctifying and cleansing His Bride with the washing of water by the Word (Gk: Rhema).

This washing [which takes place as we pray and worship by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (Rom 8:2, 1-4, NKJV)] is the work of the HOLY SPIRIT who washes in a washing of renewal and regeneration [Titus 3:5-7] through the water of the Rhema Word [Eph 5:17]. The HOLY SPIRIT, whom the FATHER has poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, washes us [renews and regenerates us] with water by the Word in the power that works within us [Eph 3:20] in renewal and regeneration [which manifests and operates as power is energized by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the Witness of Spirit, Water and Blood within us] in order to build us and to accomplish with us, exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think. Prayer by the SPIRIT always involves thought flows in our heart [Matt 5:8; Ps 24:3-4; 15:1-2; Prov 21:1-2].

i.        Titus 3:5-7 [NASB] reads: < 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. >

ii.        In this washing of renewal and regeneration, through the Water with the Word, a Bride unfolds spotless, without wrinkle, holy and, without blemish (perfect). This Bride, which is in its entirety the product of YESHUA’s faith and love, is predestined to stand in glory, in the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets [Luke 24:44-45; Matt 5:17; Rev 21:9-11].

iii.    2 Cor 4:6-7 [NKJV] declares: < 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. >

iv.        Revelation 21:9-11 [NKJV] declares: < 9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God [Col 1:26-27; Eph 3:19]. Her light [John 8:12] was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. >

The Third Revelation

The third revelation we need to come to grips with is that in this fulfillment, the Bride is a construct of YESHUA’s flesh and His bones.

Just as bones give structure to the human body, YESHUA’s bones give structure to the form of His Bride. And, YESHUA’s bones speak of His faith authored and perfected into the Bride [Heb 12:2a] that stands as a living and growing Body of His flesh and His bones.

His faith authored and perfected within us enables to be positioned and to walk into all that the FATHER has predestined for the Bride. His flesh is the Word become flesh, in His Testimony – His Words [see John 6:63; Luke 21:33] – established in hearts of flesh that are of His fullness [John 1:16-17, NKJV/NASB/KJV] which, unfolds us as peculiar Epistles of CHRIST [2 Cor 3:3, NKJV] that are of His flesh. Hearts of flesh speak of covenant relationship [Covenant intimacy] with YHWH through YESHUA that unveils each one of us as peculiar Epistles of CHRIST. In the near future this covenant relationship [intimacy] will be consecrated in a Marriage Union [where the two will become one flesh].

We are prepared as a Bride through hearts [that are of His flesh] being circumcised to carry the Name that is above every other name [Luke 2:21; Rom 2:28-29; Phil 2:9, 5-11]. This is the Name of our Husband.

In the name of YESHUA, through the functional dynamic of His Witness [1 John 5:10a, 7-8, NKJV] and His Testimony [Rev 19:10c], alive within us, by the HOLY SPIRIT [Rom 8:2, 1-4], the Bride will do the works of YHWH [John 14:12-14; 16:23-28], in the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

In the unveiling of the Bride in a Marriage Union, the Mystery of CHRIST [Col 1:26-28] will be brought into its highest fulfillment.

In the unveiling of the Bride, the Ministry of JESUS CHRIST will come into its predestined purpose of actualizing the stewardship of the Mysteries of GOD, from the inward parts of the Bride [1 Cor 4:1; 2 Cor 3:6, 4:6-7; Eph 1:9-11; 3:9-11] in a unity of being in oneness. As Ephesians 4:4-6 declares: < 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. >

We are perfected and completed in the fullness of JESUS CHRIST as we learn to live and function [in thought, word, deed and relationship] – by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS [as noted in Rom 8:2, 1-4].

The Bride of the LAMB is being wooed to carry the Name of Her Husband; whose Name is above every other Name!

There is no higher honor that the Church can actualize than the honor of carrying the revealed, testimonial reality of the Name of YESHUA MASHIAH in a circumcised heart that is entirely of His flesh!

Unfolding the testimonial reality of the Name in a Bride – through a heart of MASHIAH YESHUA’s Flesh – is the highest purpose of the Scripture.

In John 17:6a, 26, [NASB] YESHUA MASHIAH declares: < 6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world … 26 and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” >

The creative revelation of YESHUA MASHIAH in us [Eph 2:10; 2 Cor 5:17; John 1:16-17, NKJV/NASB] is at the heart of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets in our inward parts – both formatively [in our being created in CHRIST JESUS] and functionally [as we progressively learn how to function by the HOLY SPIRIT, in and through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS actualized in our inward parts, as noted in 2 Cor 4:16, 6-7, NKJV].

GBU in and by and through YESHUA’s love manifested, perfected and completed in you! Amen!

Becoming A Bride For The LAMB (Part 4)

In prior articles, we have said that the revelation of JESUS CHRIST as the BELOVED, unfolds in a heart of flesh [2 Cor 3:3; NKJV; Eze 36:26]. This revelation of the BELOVED has Davidic roots [see Acts 13:22b].

The heart of flesh that gives expression to the BELOVED is progressively circumcised by the HOLY SPIRIT [Rom 2:29] in fulfillment of the Law [Deut 30:6; Col 2:9-15].

This progressive fulfillment unfolds as the fullness of CHRIST JESUS is perfected and completed in us [John 1:16-17, NKJV/NASB; Gal 4:19] in a circumcised heart of flesh.

As we have said before a circumcised heart positions us to be a Bride for the LAMB.

A circumcised heart of flesh unfolds as we are perfected and completed in the fullness of JESUS CHRIST, as we learn to live and function [in thought, word, deed and relationship] – by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS [see Rom 8:2, 1-4] in an intimacy that knows YESHUA.

In the fullness of JESUS CHRIST revealed in a heart of flesh we develop the capacity to carry the Name of YESHUA.

It is fascinating to note that the Name YESHUA was given after the MESSIAH was circumcised. Luke 2:21 reads: < 21 And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. >

Pointedly Romans 2:28-29 declares: < 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God. >

The heart of YESHUA MASHIAH was circumcised in fulfillment of the Law [see Deut 30:6] in His death and resurrection. And, everything in YESHUA’s life was vindicated by YHWH when He was raised from the dead. Indeed as Romans 2:29c declares, YESHUA’s praise was not from men but was entirely from YHWH.

Philippians 2:5-11 declares that YESHUA, in being obedient to the point of death on the Cross, was bestowed with a Name above every other name: < 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. >

The Bride of the LAMB is being wooed to carry the Name that is above every other Name! We are called to carry the Name that is above every other Name, in a circumcised heart of flesh, in which we know, and are able to see, YESHUA as the BELOVED.

We are called to carry the Name so that we can function in the Name.

There is no higher honor that the Church can actualize than the honor of carrying the revealed, testimonial reality of the Name of YESHUA MASHIAH in a circumcised heart that is entirely of His flesh!

In the reality of a circumcised heart of His flesh, YESHUA stands as the BELOVED in us, and amongst us.

This testimonial reality of the Name [see John 17:6a, 26] is to be perfected and completed into a heart of flesh; and this testimonial reality of the Name is prophetically called a Morning Star [2 Peter 1:19].

As Morning Stars we are blessed to be a blessing in YESHUA’s Name.

This Morning Star arising out of a heart of flesh will unfold as the Root of David and the Offspring of David [Rev 22:16] are developed and brought into being within us, by the HOLY SPIRIT [John 16:14].

The Root of David and the Offspring of David are prophetic manifestations of the Name – in intimacy, as we are rooted in the BELOVED, and become the Offspring of the BELOVED, who wants to be our Husband.

Ephesians 1:17-23 [NASB] declares: < 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him [YESHUA – as defined in a heart of His flesh formed in us as noted in John 6:51 and 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV]. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened [manifested in the Light of Life as noted in John 8:12b and 2 Cor 4:6-7, NKJV], so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance [see Col 1:26-28] in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power [which is the power meant to work within us as noted in Eph 3:20b] toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. >

The eyes of our heart being enlightened, as we are rooted in the BELOVED and develop as the Offspring of the BELOVED, is the state of being that is at the heart of both the apostolic and the prophetic formation of the Bride of the LAMB.

The Prophetic is proclaimed in 2 Peter 1:19, < 19 So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. >

The Apostolic is proclaimed in Isaiah 60:3-5, < 3 “Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms. 5 “Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you. >

The fulfillment of the Apostolic and the Prophetic, which is the living proclamation of the Law and the Prophets fulfilled, is proclaimed in Rev 21:22-26, < 22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city [see Rev 21:9-11, NKJV] has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it [see 2 Cor 4:6-7, NKJV], and its lamp is the Lamb [see 2 Peter 1:19; Rev 19:10c]. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25 In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; 26 and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it >.

What YHWH is developing within us – in power, manifested out of the strength of the FATHERs Might – is in fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant [Ps 89:2-4, 20-37].

The Bride has Davidic roots. The Bride is rooted in the BELOVED and the Bride is the Offspring of David, the Body of His flesh, loved and nourished by YESHUA, so that we can come forth as YESHUA’s Bride [see Eph 5:28-30, NKJV].

Three “Kingdom” functional capacities flow out of our Davidic roots, in the form of the Davidic Kingdom Anointings: (i) the Priestly; (ii) the Prophetic; and, (iii) the Kingly.

These Kingdom functional capacities are progressive functional expressions of the Apostolic and the Prophetic bequeathed to the Body of MASHIAH, the Church that is fashioned out of His flesh and bones (see Eph 5:30, NKJV) – in fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

The prophet Isaiah [in Isa 9:6-7] proclaims some 300 years after David’s death and some 700 years before the advent of MESSIAH, that the MESSIAH, the Son of David, will be established on the throne of David: < 6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts [YHWH-SABBAOTH] will accomplish this. >

David prophesied of the cosmic dimensions of YESHUA’s position and authority that Ephesians 1:18-23 describes, in Psalm 110:1-2, < 1 The LORD [YHWH] says to my Lord [Adon]: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” 2 The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion [see Heb 12:22-24], saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies [Rev 11:15-17].” >

David also prophesied about a Bride’s response to MESSIAH the King in Psalm 110:3, < 3 Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power [John 17:26c; Eph 3:20, 19-21; John 14:12-15]; in holy array, from the womb of the dawn [2 Peter 1:19; Ps 24:3-10; 2 Cor 4:6-7], Your youth are to You as the dew [Ex 16:13c-14; understand that the Manna in the wilderness manifested when the Dew evaporated; John 6:48-51]. >

David also prophesied about the Bride being a priesthood of the Order of Melchizedek in Psalm 110:4, < 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” >

Everything that unveils the Prophetic and the Kingly is entirely dependent [see Matt 7:21-23] on us being willing to be a Priesthood of the Order of Melchizedek.

Only a priesthood, with Davidic Roots, will have the capacity to connect with YHWH from its inward parts – by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS [Rom 8:2, 1-4, NKJV]; so as to be set free from the Law of Sin and Death.

Everything in the Law of CHRIST, His Commandments, can only be observed [obeyed] as we put on CHRIST, and walk by the SPIRIT, in a progressive circumcision of the heart. So, the Bride is a priesthood that understands the change of Law [see Heb 7:11-12, 28] that has taken place and, is able to put on CHRIST and walk in His commandments by the SPIRIT, in a pure heart that is of YESHUA’s flesh.

There are two pointers to the formation of the Bride from Romans 13:14 and Galatians 5:16 respectively:

  • 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
  • 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

To be a Bride we must function in our lives and ministries out of our priesthood that sanctifies us as the dwelling places of YHWH (see Ps 84:1-2). Only as the Dew evaporates will the Manna to feed the nations manifest in hearts of His flesh!

GBU in and by and through YESHUA’s love manifested, perfected and completed in you! Amen!

Becoming A Bride For The LAMB (Part 3)

We have said that the Bride will come forth in the understanding that we must, as the Body of CHRIST, be knit together in love.

This knitting together in love will come about in an actualization of the love of MASHIAH YESHUA for His Body, in our inward parts. Our love for one another will flow out of the actuality of YESHUA’s love manifested in us.

1 John 4:9 [YLT] declares that the manifestation of the love of GOD in us is through the gift of the only begotten SON: < 9 In this was manifested the love of God in us, because His Son – the only begotten – hath God sent to the world, that we may live through him >.

John 1:16 [NASB] declares: < 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. >

John 3:16 [NKJV] declares that the love of GOD is communicated into us in the only begotten SON – through our faith in YESHUA MASHIAH: < 16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. >

This love in us is a manifestation that is of YESHUA’s flesh! [See John 6:51].

Ephesians 5:29-30 [NKJV] reads: < 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. >

Prophetically speaking, YESHUA’s love is actualized in a heart of [His] flesh.

Ezekiel 36: 25-27 [NKJV] speaks of this heart of flesh that unfolds after YHWH has given us a new heart and a new spirit: < 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. >

This heart of flesh is called the Epistle of CHRIST in 2 Corinthians 3:3 [NKJV]. This Epistle in a heart of flesh is uniquely engineered in us by YHWH: < 3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. >

We need to pray and worship by the SPIRIT for the love of YESHUA to be manifested (see John 16:14b) in a heart of flesh as often as we remember! “Remember Me”, He said!

As Ephesians 3:20 declares, YHWH will give us exceedingly abundantly, beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

This heart of flesh represents the essential reality in which YHWH communicates the fulfillment of the Law into our being. And, this comes about as the reality of YESHUA’s love is progressively realized in us and, expressed through us – from a heart that YHWH is creating (see Ps 51:10).

Love actualized from GOD in a heart of flesh [through prayer and worship in the SPIRIT] and, expressed in our daily living, is the fulfillment of the Law [1 John 4:9, NKJV; Rom 13:8, NKJV].

A heart of flesh, that is 100% the work of YHWH, prophetically flows out of Exodus 31:18 and 32:16, which declare: < 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God. 16 Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets. >

Now the basis of the fulfillment of the Law is the Covenant that YHWH progressively brings into being, in a living heart of YESHUA’s flesh, in us. The flesh of the LAMB forms the construct of Covenant in us. And, this Covenant, witnessed in the Blood of the LAMB, is the Word of the Oath that forms Blood Covenant.

The Word of the Oath is of YESHUA’s flesh, manifested in a heart of flesh – as Blood Covenant uniquely engineered by YHWH – within each one of us.

Hebrews 7:28 speaks of the Oath of YHWH that forms Blood Covenant: < 28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law [in the actuality of the Law having been fulfilled in and by JESUS CHRIST – Matt 5:17], appoints the Son who has been perfected forever. >

The Covenant, actualized in a growing heart of flesh, is the love of YHWH actualized through JESUS CHRIST. It is the love of YHWH because the heart of flesh is entirely of JESUS CHRIST – of His Flesh, as the only Begotten SON, in the bosom of the FATHER (John 1:18)!

The HOLY SPIRIT circumcises our heart of flesh so that we will actualize the capacity to love YHWH with all of our heart and soul – in fulfillment of the Law, as prophesied by Moses the Law-giver.

  • Deut 30:6 [NKJV] points to this: < 6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. … 8 And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today. >
  • Rom 2:29 [NKJV] reads: < 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter ….. >
  • Col 2:11-15 [NKJV] reads: < 11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh [the fallen flesh of our carnality], by the circumcision of Christ [YESHUA’s Heart was circumcised in His death and resurrection, in fulfillment of the Law; and we appropriate the fulfillment in YESHUA’s Testimony by faith; hence our justification by faith in YESHUA], 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us [thus qualifying us under the Law for a Marriage], which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. >

The circumcision of our heart qualifies us to enter into a Marriage Covenant with the LAMB, where two hearts will become one flesh! This one flesh binding tie will be in His Flesh!

In the Abrahamic Covenant, circumcision was the evidence of the Covenant (see Gen 17:11). Hence, in the New Covenant our circumcision by the SPIRIT is the evidence of Covenant. And, the evidence of our circumcision – as evidenced in a love for GOD through JESUS CHRIST [see Deut 30:6] – qualifies us for a Marriage. And, this is so, because we are circumcised in a heart that is of His flesh!

Colossians 2:2b [NKJV] tells us that our circumcision [which will also express us as members one of another] will be evidenced in our hearts < being knit together [as the Body of MASHIAH that YESHUA has justified by His love for us] in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ >.

The Marriage Union of the LAMB and His Bride takes place when the two are in a position to become “one flesh” [see Eph 5:30-32, NKJV]. Our circumcised heart that loves GOD, qualifies us for a Marriage with the LAMB.

In this reality of a circumcised heart of His flesh, YESHUA is addressed as ‘David’ – the ‘Well Beloved’, Our Husband!

All of our hearts must be a construct of YESHUA’s own flesh [see 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV] for us to qualify as His Bride.

The formation of our hearts in the flesh of the LAMB fulfills the Davidic Covenant that has the prophetic intent of unveiling each one of us as: < a man after My [YHWH’s] own heart, who will do all My [YHWH’s] will > [Acts 13:22c].

2 Corinthians 4:6-7, [NKJV] proclaims the highest reality of this Light of Life [see John 8:12] being manifested in us, in the following terms: < 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us >.

For all this to come into fulfillment we must be objectively willing to pursue the reality of being knit together in love, as the Body of MASHIAH, through a heart of YESHUA’s flesh. The prophetic implications of this knitting together are simply astonishing!

We must pursue this knitting together, in order to realize the essential prophetic ingredient to the Mystery of GOD – YESHUA’s flesh – being perfected and finished through a one flesh tie in a Bride:< 2 that their [our] hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom [that defines every application of the Word of GOD that YHWH Fulfills prophetically – see Jer 1:11-12] and knowledge [that opens in revelatory insights manifested in a people prophetically sealed to be a Bride for the LAMB]. >

As John 1:16-17 [NASB] declares: < 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. > Amen!

And we are talking of grace realized in an astonishing plane of functional prophetic reality!

We are writing these articles so that you will be convinced that by a faith authored and finished by JESUS CHRIST, in a circumcised heart of flesh – grace upon grace – you can and will, by the SPIRIT, be a Bride.

Please be reminded once more that we will not become a Bride by practice of the Law; we will only be a Bride if we put on CHRIST and actualize the fulfillment of the Law in and through His substance and witness arising in a circumcised heart of YESHUA’s flesh – by grace through faith.

It will be impossible to become a Bride by practice of the Law. Because our righteousnesses are defined in the Prophets as filthy rags (Isa 64:6).

We become a Bride by grace, manifested and developed in the substance of the fullness of JESUS CHRIST, predestined over our lives [see John 1:16-17, NASB/NKJV/KJV].

We will become a Bride, grace upon grace – by the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT [see John 16:14, 13-15] as YESHUA intercedes for His wife [see Heb 7:25c] even as He washes Her by the Washing with the Water of the Word [see Eph 5:25-27]! Isn’t this an incredible reality to walk into by grace, through faith in YESHUA MASHIAH.

For all this to come forth we must objectively reject legalism. People shut under the Law will never understand the power of YHWH’s love given to us by the SPIRIT, in the only begotten SON who is in the bosom of the FATHER (John 1:18).

As Romans 3:19-28, [NKJV] reads:

< 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets [in fulfilled terms in the Testimony of JESUS – see Matt 5:17; Rev 19:10c],

22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ [KJV: faith of Jesus Christ!], to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. >

Becoming A Bride For The LAMB (Part 2)

Prior to the sounding of the seventh angel, Revelation 10:7 declares: < 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets. >

The Mystery of GOD being finished is tied to the Body of MESSIAH, < being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ > as noted in Colossians 2:2b [NKJV].

The Bride will come forth from a portion of the Body of MESSIAH that understands that it can be knit together in love. This comes about in an actualization of the love of MASHIAH YESHUA for His Body.

What is this love of JESUS CHRIST for His Body, and how do we understand its realization and actualization?

This love is of His flesh! Ephesians 5:29-30 [NKJV] reads: < 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. >

The Marriage Union of the LAMB and His Bride takes place when the two are prophetically positioned to become “one flesh” [see Eph 5:30-32, NKJV].

This ‘prophetic position’ is being referred to in Revelation 10:7b as: “then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.”

In the attaining of this ‘prophetic position’ we become ‘stewards of the Mysteries of GOD’ [see 1 Cor 4:1c] – authenticated Ministers (Servants) of CHRIST.

We are authenticated in the glory of YHWH’s grace.

As Ephesians 1:6 [NASB] declares: < 6 to the praise of the glory of His [the FATHER’s] grace, which He [the FATHER] freely bestowed on us in the Beloved [JESUS our Husband]. >

Obviously this one flesh tie can’t be of our flesh! It must be of YESHUA’s flesh. In this reality of a heart of His flesh, YESHUA is addressed as ‘David’ – the ‘Well Beloved’, Our Husband!

There are three prophetic realities opened to us in ‘David’: (i) the Root of David [Rev 22:16]; (ii) the Offspring of David [Rev 22:16]; and (iii) the Key of David [Rev 3:7]. We will address these prophetic realities later on in this series.

All of our hearts must be a construct of YESHUA’s own flesh [see 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV] for us to qualify as His Bride.

This is why in the parable of the 10 virgins, the Bridegroom tells the five virgins who were left behind [in Matt 25:12b, NASB] : < ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you’ >.

They were not of His flesh. The LAMB wasn’t their Lamp [see Rev 21:23c]; and, they had run out of the oil of His fragrance at the appointed time [see 2 Cor 2:14-16; Ex 27:20-21; 30:34-38].

It is of great prophetic significance that in 2 Corinthians 2:16c, the HOLY SPIRIT, speaking through Paul about the fragrance of JESUS CHRIST, poses a prophetic question: < And who is adequate for these things? >

So, who can qualify to be a Bride?

Because so many in the Body of MASHIAH are governed under the Law, so many in the Body of MASHIAH actually think that they cannot qualify [see Prov 23:7]. So the subject of being a Bride is rarely addressed from our pulpits.

And, when it is addressed, it is seen from the perspective of the Law that so many feel they will not make the grade! [After all how can I be a virgin Bride?]

The prophetic answer to the question of our being adequate for the formation of the Bride flows out of Ephesians 5:25-27 [NASB] : < 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her [see 2 Cor 5:21], 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. >

The formation of hearts of flesh, unfold from a supernatural process of washing in renewal and regeneration. Renewal and regeneration are processes that are inherent to the process of the washing “of water with the Word”.

The washing “of water with the Word” is the Ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT. Titus 3:5 [NASB] explains: < 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He [the FATHER] poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. >

It is in grace that this process of washing is opened to us.

Pointedly, John 1:16 [NKJV] tells that < 16 of His fullness we have all received [2 Cor 3:3, NKJV], and grace for grace [NASB: grace upon grace]. >

1 John 3:3 [NASB] unveils the prophetic consequence of our willingness to set our hope on JESUS the MESSIAH with these words: < 3 And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him [on JESUS CHRIST] purifies himself, just as He [JESUS CHRIST] is pure. >

Faith is the substance [Gk: hupostasis] of hope [Heb 11:1, NKJV].

If our hope is on YESHUA MASHIAH [persistently and continuously] then the substance of our hope will be of YESHUA. And, this is the essential meaning and reality of grace, opened to us by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (Rom 8:2).

And, because of substance received through hope; hope in YESHUA purifies us as YESHUA is pure!

When we set our hope on YESHUA; by grace, the HOLY SPIRIT works the substance of YESHUA into us, making us spotless and blameless – progressively. Doing in us what the Law can never even begin to do.

[This is how a virgin Bride comes into being – progressively.]

Our purity is of the substance of YESHUA – perfected and completed into us.

The substance of YESHUA forms a heart of flesh within us [see 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV] – grace upon grace.

The subsequent verses to 2 Corinthians 3:3, in 2 Corinthians 3:4-6 [NASB], declare: < 4 such confidence we have through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, 6 who also made us adequate as servants [or, ministers – see 1 Cor 4:1 where we are called stewards of the Mysteries of GOD in a position that comes into being in hearts of YESHUA’s flesh] of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7 But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? >

We have now answered the prophetic question posed earlier: < And who is adequate for these things? >

Our adequacy to manifest the fragrance of JESUS CHRIST from hearts of flesh, and become a Bride for the LAMB, is 100% from GOD! See Ex 32:16 and 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV.

We receive by faith!

Faith forms in substance and YESHUA is the Author and Perfecter of our faith [Heb 12:2a].

The formation of our hearts in the flesh of the LAMB fulfills the Davidic Covenant that has the prophetic intent of unveiling: < a man after My own heart, who will do all My will > [Acts 13:22c].

This is the prophetic reason for the Bride of the LAMB: to be an actual people after GOD’s own heart, who will do all of His will!

This is why Revelation 21:11 [NKJV] describes the Bride as: < 11 having the glory of God. Her light [NASB: ‘Her Brilliance’] was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. >

2 Corinthians 4:6-7, [NKJV] proclaims the reality of this Light of Life [see John 8:12] being manifested in us,in the following terms: < 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us >.

Now we can better understand the Mystery of GOD finished in Revelation 10:7; what Colossians 2:1-3 [NKJV] opens to us in the Body MESSIAH; a Body, willing to pursue the reality of being knit together in love, through a heart of YESHUA’s flesh, to realize the essential prophetic ingredient to the Mystery of GOD – YESHUA’s flesh – being perfected and finished in a Bride:< 2 that their [our] hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom [that defines every application of the Word of GOD that YHWH Fulfills prophetically – see Jer 1:11-12] and knowledge [that opens in revelatory insights manifested in a prophetic people sealed to be a Bride for the LAMB]. >

As John 1:16-17 [NASB] declares: < 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. > Amen!

We are writing these articles so that you will be convinced that by a faith authored and finished by JESUS CHRIST, you can and will be a Bride.

We will not become a Bride by practice of the Law; we will only be a Bride if we put on CHRIST and actualize the fulfillment of the Law in and through His substance and witness. HE is the Bread of Life. HE is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

We will not become a Bride by practice of the Law; but by grace, manifested and developed in the substance of the fullness of JESUS CHRIST predestined over our lives, grace upon grace – by the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT [see John 16:14, 13-15]!

As Romans 3:19-28, [NKJV] reads: < 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. >
