Pastor Saeed’s Incredible Letter from Prison

Aimee Herd (Feb 26, 2013)

“I can clearly see what is going on and because I want to serve God, I see all of these difficulties as golden opportunities and great doors to serve.” -Pastor Saeed Abedini

Those of us who live in countries where there is—for the most part—freedom of religion, often find ourselves preoccupied by our “own little world” and the problems that can seem to loom large and fill our entire vision.

But, for most of us, it’s as the writer of Hebrews says in chapter 12; “You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.”

Sometimes it’s good to get a reminder what is truly important in this life, and what standing firm in our faith in Jesus Christ really means.

A moving example of this is provided by our brother-in-chains—Pastor Saeed Abedini—in a letter written by him from the depths of one of Iran’s most brutal prisons. Saeed, an American pastor, was recently sentenced to 8 years in this place for his Christian faith, while his wife and children, the ACLJ and Believers everywhere pray and work to see him released. (Photo: Saeed and family/NY Daily News)

This letter reveals such courage and strength that can only come from the Spirit of the Living God. And I’m reminded of Jesus’ words, which I pray will continue to help this precious brother to stand firm for his Savior and King:

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Matthew 5:10-11)

Please continue to pray for Pastor Saeed.

PASTOR SAEED’S LETTER FROM PRISON:

Writing from my heart.

My Dear Friends,

The conditions here get so very difficult that my eyes get blurry, my body does not have the strength to walk, and my steps become very weak and shaky.

Various (bullying) groups, the psychological warfare, a year of not seeing my family, physical violence, actions committed to humiliate me, insults, being mocked, being confronted with extremists in the prison who create another prison within the prison walls, and the death threats . . .

It is interesting that because I am a Christian pastor, I am carefully watched. I am expected to smile at them despite what is being done and to understand why they are doing all of these things. But, of course, I can clearly see what is going on and because I want to serve God, I see all of these difficulties as golden opportunities and great doors to serve. There are empty containers who are thirsty for a taste of the Living Water and we can quench their thirst by giving them Jesus Christ. Maybe you are also in such a situation, so pray and seek God that He would use you and direct you in the pressures and difficulties of your lives.

There are those who are enemies of the Living Bible and do not want to hear. They are trying to put me under such horrific pressures (that are sometimes unbearable) so that they can show me that my faith is empty and not real. And after all of these pressures, after all of the nails they have pressed against my hands and feet, they are only waiting for one thing…for me to deny Christ. But they will never get this from me. This is why the Bible is Truth and they are in the way of destruction.

There is another group who does not know the Gospel of Truth. Instead of truly listening and meditating on God’s Word, they are just waiting to see how I react to all of their pressures and persecution. What will come out of me during these intense times? But again, this is another golden opportunity for me to shine the light of Christ in this dark world and to let God to use me.

Yesterday when I was singing worship songs, the head of my cell room attacked me in order to stop me from praising but in response I hugged him and showed him love. He was shocked.

It is during these harsh conditions, that I deeply need God’s Saving Grace so that I can be the fragrant scent of Christ in the dark house of Evin prison. I have often seen the Shining Morning Star in the darkness of this prison and I have seen His amazing and supernatural works. Oh, how beautiful is seeing the light of the Shining Morning Star of Christ in such evil darkness.

So:

See your golden opportunities in pressures and difficulties.

See the Shining Morning Star in the dark times of your life.

I Love Him! He is Gracious, Merciful, and Righteous to me. I now know that I have not been forgotten and that we are together in this path. God gives me Grace.

This is my message for the Church: Stay Strong for His Glory. He will come back soon! Be with God and give your best efforts for His kingdom.

Pastor Saeed, servant of Jesus Christ in chains for endurance of Gospel. I love you all.

Moving Into 2013

A cursory reading of the Book of Revelation in the context of YESHUA’s discourse in Matthew 24:3-33 tells us that we need to stand prepared for the uncertain times ahead of us.

The coming global revival – a “new” Pentecost – will position the Body of MASHIAH, as ministers of CHRIST, able to operate by the SPIRIT, in the Testimony of JESUS, in the times ahead that will bring this age to closure.

This “new” Pentecost [the latter rain revival] will come to a Church that actively seeks to prepare for it, even as the apostles and disciples of JESUS CHRIST prepared for it in Acts 1:14 (NASB), “These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer …”.

As YESHUA declared in John 14:12-15, < 12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. 15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. >

There will be a new realm of ministry in the Church. John 16:23-27 (NASB) reads: < 23 “In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. 24 “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full [Neh 8:10]. 25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. 26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; 27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. >

But there are issues we must deal with ….

The Prophetic Word In Season:

  • Isaiah 4:4 (NASB) declares: < 4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning, 5 then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy. 6 There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain. >
  • Isaiah 52:6-12 (NASB) declares: < 6 Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.'” 7 How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” 8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, they shout joyfully together; for they will see with their own eyes when the LORD restores Zion. 9 Break forth, shout joyfully together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for the LORD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem. 10 The LORD has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God. 11 Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD. 12 But you will not go out in haste, Nor will you go as fugitives; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. >

Year-End Prayer Points:

  • Wash away the filth (bring these issues before the LORD: pride, lust, selfishness, greed, corruption, manipulation, self-absorption, materialism, offense, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, etc) …. pray by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS [see Rom 8:2], for a spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning [these are attributes of the Spirit of JESUS CHRIST – see Rev 1:14, “and His eyes [see also Rev 5:6] were like a flame of fire” and, Rev 1:19, When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man.”] to purge out of ourselves [praying by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS] our every filthiness and to ask GOD to remove every barrier between us and Himself [see Isa 59:1-2, 3-8]
  • So that GOD will position you (us) under His canopy to be a shelter, a shade from the heat and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain in the uncertain times ahead.
  • Then you will know His Name [John 16:23-27]
  • Then you will have the faith to hear and walk into the good news of restoration
  • Then you will be able to see the works of the LORD in times of trouble [John 14:12]
  • Proclaim/Live the Gospel: < “How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” >

We need to understand the prophetic Word that stands over us in these times ahead of us ….

The Prophetic Word For Our Times

  •    Hebrews 12:26-29 gives us a clear perspective of the times we live in: < 26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth [Matt 24:21-22], but also the heaven [Matt 24:29].” 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken [John 3:3,5; Luke 17:20-21], let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service [1 Peter 4:10-11] with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire. >
  •    Isaiah 43:18-21 (NASB) declares: < 18 “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. 19 Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field will glorify Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I have given waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My chosen people. 21 The people whom I formed for Myself will declare My praise.” >
  •    Isaiah 60:1-5 (NASB) declares: < 1 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. 2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. 3 “Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms. 5 “Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you. >
  •    Isaiah 2:2-22 (NASB) declares: < 2 Now it will come about that In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. 3 and many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us concerning His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 And He will judge between the nations, and will render decisions for many peoples; and they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war. 5 Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the LORD. 6 For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with influences from the east, and they are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they strike bargains with the children of foreigners. 7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold and there is no end to their treasures; their land has also been filled with horses and there is no end to their chariots. 8 Their land has also been filled with idols; they worship the work of their hands, that which their fingers have made. 9 So the common man has been humbled and the man of importance has been abased, but do not forgive them. 10 Enter the rock and hide in the dust from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty. 11 The proud look of man will be abased and the loftiness of man will be humbled, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. 12 For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoning against everyone who is proud and lofty and against everyone who is lifted up, that he may be abased. 13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan, 14 against all the lofty mountains, against all the hills that are lifted up, 15 against every high tower, against every fortified wall, 16 against all the ships of Tarshish and against all the beautiful craft. 17 The pride of man will be humbled and the loftiness of men will be abased; and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day, 18 but the idols will completely vanish. 19 Men will go into caves of the rocks and into holes of the ground before the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to make the earth tremble. 20 In that day men will cast away to the moles and the bats their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship, 21 in order to go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs before the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to make the earth tremble. 22 Stop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; for why should he be esteemed?
  •    Isaiah 32:1-20 (NASB) declares: < 1 Behold, a king will reign righteously and princes will rule justly. 2 Each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. 3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen. [See Ps 110:3] 4 The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly. 5 No longer will the fool be called noble, or the rogue be spoken of as generous. 6 For a fool speaks nonsense, and his heart inclines toward wickedness: to practice ungodliness and to speak error against the LORD, to keep the hungry person unsatisfied and to withhold drink from the thirsty. 7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; he devises wicked schemes to destroy the afflicted with slander, even though the needy one speaks what is right. 8 But the noble man devises noble plans; and by noble plans he stands. 9 Rise up, you women who are at ease, and hear my voice; give ear to My word, you complacent daughters. 10 Within a year and a few days you will be troubled, O complacent daughters; for the vintage is ended, and the fruit gathering will not come. 11 Tremble, you women who are at ease; be troubled, you complacent daughters; strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist, 12 beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine, 13 for the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city. 14 Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken. Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks; 15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field is considered as a forest. 16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness will abide in the fertile field. 17 And the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. 18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places; 19 and it will hail when the forest comes down, and the city will be utterly laid low. 20 How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters [in the midst of both poisoned and sweetened waters], who let out freely the ox and the donkey. >
  •    Isaiah 33:6 (NASB) declares: < 6 And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is his treasure. >
  •    Isaiah 33:14-17 (NASB) declares: < 14 Sinners in Zion are terrified; Trembling has seized the godless. “Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?” 15 He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity, He who rejects unjust gain and shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe; He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil; 16 he will dwell on the heights, his refuge will be the impregnable rock; his bread will be given him, his water will be sure. 17 Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; they will behold a far-distant land. >
  •    In Matthew 24:3-31 (NASB), YESHUA declares: < 3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes [KJV: pestilences]. 8 “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. 9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. 15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 17 “Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. 18 “Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. 19 “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 “But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. 22 “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,‘ do not believe him. 24 “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25 “Behold, I have told you in advance. 26 “So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. 27 “For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 “Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. 29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 “And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. >

The Bride Of The LAMB

  •    Matthew 25:1-12 (NASB) reads: < 1   “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2   “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 “For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8      “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour. >
  •    Luke 12:35-37 reads: < 35 “Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. 36 “Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. 37 “Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. >
  •    1 Corinthians 4:1 declares: < 1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants [ministers] of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. >
  •    Revelation 10:7 declares: < 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets [Rev 19:10c]. >
  •    Revelation 11:15-19 declares: < 15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. 18 “And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” 19 And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple …. . >
  •    Colossians 2:2-3 (KJV) declares: < That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 in whom [see Col 1:26-27] are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. >
  •    Revelation 14:1-5 (NASB) declares: < 1 Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand [Eph 2:13-22], having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. 3 And they *sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth [Rom 5:9]. 4 These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste [Eph 5:25-27, 30; Titus 3:5-6; Eph 2:10; 2 Cor 5:17-18a]. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb [James 1:17-18]. 5 And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless. >

Thought For The Day (September 10, 2012): Holding YHWH’s Peace To Actualize Victory & Breakthrough

Exodus 14:14 (KJV) unveils a prophetic declaration: < The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. >

The Word of the Cross (1 Cor 1:18) stands and operates in us in a Witness in Spirit, Water and Blood (1 John 5:8, 10a, NKJV).

The Word of the Cross has opened to us an eternal and abiding reality of the peace that surpasses all understanding. And we can hold this GOD-given and GOD-ordained peace – in the Witness operating in us by the HOLY SPIRIT – to realize the victory YESHUA accomplished on the Cross in the specifics of our being, in our life’s situations and circumstances and, in our ministries.

The Witness – operating in us, by the HOLY SPIRIT (Romans 8:2) in Spirit, Water and Blood (John 19:30, 34) is the faithful and true Witness of JESUS CHRIST (Rev 3:14b).

In the faithful and true Witness, is the Shabbat-Shalom of YHWH, given to us in the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets (Matt 5:17; John 14:27).

YESHUA instructs us as follows in John 14:27 (KJV), < Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. >

In John 16:33 (KJV), YESHUA declares: < These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. >

YHWH has given us a capacity for peace that surpasses all understanding in the Witness in us – in Spirit, Water and Blood.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) reads: < Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. >

“Through CHRIST JESUS” is an operating reality that is opened by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the Witness – in Spirit, Water and Blood.

[Tongues are a powerful tool that facilitates our entry and operation in the Witness, in a Shabbat-Shalom that surpasses all understanding.]

To see victory in our lives; to be overcomers in all kinds of travail; to persevere in the plans of GOD; to actualize breakthroughs; to see healing and deliverance flow in our lives and being; we must “hold the peace” through the Witness in us, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the understanding that it is YHWH who fights for us and, that in the Blood of the LAMB, victory has been obtained for us.

As Exodus 14:14 (KJV) decrees: < The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. >

This peace (Heb: shalom) is the Witness that stands in Blood; the Blood of the LAMB is the predestined reality in which sin and death have been destroyed (see Rev 13:8, KJV; 12:11, 10-11, 7-9).

This shalom (peace) in the Witness stands in the Oath of GOD sworn in Blood over us and into us by YHWH in the merits of the LAMB.

Hebrews 7:28 reads: < For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever. >

The Witness of peace holds the Word of GOD in the Oath of YHWH that surpasses all understanding. GOD will give us exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us (see Eph 3:20).

The power that works within us operates in Spirit, Water and Blood; and stands in a Shabbat-Shalom that surpasses all understanding. This power operates as a consequence of all that YHWH has predestined in the SON, by the  HOLY SPIRIT (see Romans 8:2).

This is prophetically foreshadowed as the heritage of Joseph, who is called a fruitful ‘bough’ in Genesis 49:22. In John 15:4-5 we are referred to as ‘branches’ called to bear fruit.

As Genesis 49:23-24 explains: < “The archers bitterly attacked him, and shot at him and harassed him; but his bow remained firm, and his arms were agile, from the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel)” >.

“His bow remained firm” translates into an inward reality in us, where we stand firm by holding the Peace of YHWH-Shalom in a Shabbat Rest alive by the SPIRIT in our inward parts, where we cease striving and know that GOD is in control and that the victory that we are choosing to appropriate is a ‘done deal’ in the finished work of the cross. In the Witness, the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (see Isa 9:6-7), the Shepherd (see John 9:11, 14, 27) and Stone of Israel (see Matt 16:18-19) operates through us.

This is the peace of YHWH’s Covenant sworn in the Blood of the LAMB that surpasses our understanding of reality, which our Witness can actualize by the HOLY SPIRIT, through prayer and worship. We can preach, teach, counsel, worship and prophesy through this peace.

Tongues are a powerful tool in actualizing the Peace that surpasses all understanding (see also Heb 5:13-14)! Amen!

GBU! Be blessed to be a blessing!

Thought For The Day (September 3, 2012): What The Word Accomplishes

James 1:17-25 gives us an overview of what the Word accomplishes: < 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures. …..

21 Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.

25 But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does. >

From this passage in James, we understand the following:

A)    GOD brings us forth by the Word of Truth. YESHUA declared that HE is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). In its essence the Word of Truth is the communication of JESUS CHRIST, the WORD of GOD (John 1:1), whose fullness is to fill all in all (Eph 1:23c).

  1. This is why Ephesians 2:10 reads: < For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. >
  2. YHWH uses the Word of Truth to create us. This is the creative work of the HOLY SPIRIT who is called the SPIRIT of Truth (John 14:16-17; 16:13) who creates us in the fullness of JESUS CHRIST (John 1:16-17, KJV/NKJV/NASB) who is the Truth.

B)    The Word (of Truth) implanted saves our soul. The Word implanted that saves our soul is the revealed Word worked into our inward parts by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (Romans 8:2; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV).

The revealed Word manifests the Light of Life (John 8:12). And this Light of Life is a revelation of YESHUA MASHIAH. YHWH is the FATHER of Lights. And we are Lights called forth through the Word of Truth to actualize every good and perfect gift coming down from the FATHER of Lights!

  1. Deuteronomy 29:29 declares: < “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.” >
  2. In Mark 4:22 YESHUA declares: < “For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides. For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.” And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows–how, he himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.” >
  3. The Word implanted is communicated in the Spirit and Life of YESHUA (John 6:63b). The Word manifested in the Spirit and Life of YESHUA is the work of the HOLY SPIRIT (John 6:63a). The Word manifested in the Spirit and Life of MASHIAH YESHUA gives expression to the Light of Life. This is the work of the HOLY SPIRIT.
  4. This is why tongues are an effective tool in actualizing revelation knowledge. Because tongues energize the Word, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the Spirit and Life of YESHUA through the Witness of JESUS CHRIST – in Spirit, Water and Blood – alive in us who are born again (see 1 John 5:10a, 7-8, NKJV).
  5. The use of tongues to obtain revelation knowledge is proclaimed in the Prophets. Isaiah 28:9-12 (NASB) reads: < “To whom would He teach knowledge, and to whom would He interpret the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just taken from the breast? “For He says, ‘Order on order, order on order, Line on line, line on line, A little here, a little there.'” Indeed, He will speak to this people through stammering lips and a foreign tongue, He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,” And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen. >
  6. The Prophets also speak of pure language. Zephaniah 3:9 (KJV) reads: < For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. > This pure language has the intent and design of enabling us to serve YHWH with one consent!

C)    Be effectual (effective) doers of the Word (of Truth). Functioning by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS is the Law of Life (Rom 8:2, 1-4). This Law of Life that has been predestined to set us free from the Law of Sin and death communicates Truth in the Testimony of JESUS, by the SPIRIT of Truth makes us free.

  1. We can function in the flesh or, we can function by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS. To effectively walk in the Word of Truth is a walk by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the fullness of JESUS CHRIST through His Witness is Spirit, Water and Blood (see 1 John 5:10a, 8).
  2. The fullness of JESUS CHRIST stands in the fabric of the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST manifested into the fabric of our being by the HOLY SPIRIT through prayer.
  3. Tongues are an effective tool to enable this communication (see 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV).
  4. The Light of Life forms the Armor of Light which is the Armor of GOD (Rom 13:12; Eph 6:11).

D)    The practice of the Word (of Truth) unfolds the perfect law of liberty. The perfect law of liberty is the Law of the SPIRIT of Life in CHRIST JESUS that has set us free from the Law of Sin and Death (see Rom 8:2).

  1. By the SPIRIT, through the Witness in Spirit, Water and Blood we can actualize the reality of CHRIST JESUS in us; we can behold the LORD JESUS CHRIST as LORD and BELOVED from our inward parts. This is the Veil of His Flesh opened to us through the Blood of the LAMB in a new and living Way (see Heb 10:19-20, NKJV+NASB). This how we are positioned in the Mount of the LORD (Gen 22:14).
  2. 1 Corinthians 3:17-18 reads: < Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. > GBU!

Thought For The Day (September 1, 2012): The Law Of Life

Romans 8:2 (NASB) reads: < For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. >

The FATHER has predestined (foreordained) actual freedom from the Law of Sin and Death to those who are willing to live by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS.

Romans 8:3-4 (NKJV) reads: < For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. >

Romans 8:1 (NKJV) declares that: < There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. >

All things in Scripture flow into progressive fulfillment by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS. Eternal life, and the capacities to be developed in expressing this eternal life, are a gift that the FATHER has predestined – for progressive revelation and development in us – in His SON.

John 3:16 (NKJV) reads: < For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. >

Eternal life is an outcome the FATHER has predestined for everyone who believes in the SON; believing, in such a manner as to live in what the FATHER has predestined in CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT.

In John 16:14 (NASB) YESHUA declares: < He (the HOLY SPIRIT) will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He (the HOLY SPIRIT) will take of Mine and declare it to you. >

YESHUA declares categorically: “All things that the FATHER has are Mine”!

From this statement we can understand that everything the FATHER has predestined for fulfillment is opened and developed in us, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS.

This is the basis of eternal life.

Living by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS is the Law of Life.

In this predestined reality of life eternal – in CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT – is the reality and the actuality of the prophetic, predestined by the FATHER for our well-being (2 Cor 1:20).

This is why Hebrews 1:3 (NASB) declares that: < He (YESHUA) … upholds all things by the word of His power … >. Amen!

This is why 2 Peter 1:19 (NASB) declares: < So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. >

This Morning Star arising in our hearts is the Mystery of CHRIST predestined for revealed manifestation in the Body of MESSIAH, called to be a Bride for the LAMB.

Colossians 1:26-28 (NASB) reads: < the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. >

The Mystery of CHRIST peculiar to each one of us manifests and grows in what Scripture calls the Epistle of CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV) reads: < Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. >

Each element of the Testimony of YESHUA (JESUS) is manifested and developed in the peculiar Epistle of CHRIST that we each are; we are a Morning Star in the making; with each Morning Star being a growing measure of the Bright Morning Star (Rev 22:16) expressing the reality and actuality of eternal life freely bestowed in us in the BELOVED, our Husband (Eph 1:6, NASB).

And, we are of our Husband’s flesh and of His bones (see Eph 5:30, KJV/NKJV). This is the construct of the Bride; she is of His flesh and of His bones.

His flesh is the substance of His fullness. His bones represent the structure of His Body; manifested, through His faith authored and perfected into the fabric of our faith and our being – individually and collectively!

As Morning Stars we are living expressions of the Glory of the FATHER’s Grace – freely bestowed on us in the BELOVED (Eph 1:6, NASB). Amen!

All that YHWH has predestined is unveiled in us – grace upon grace – in the Righteousness of YHWH working within us (through our faith in YESHUA) the prophetic reality of eternal life, freely bestowed on us through our faith in YESHUA (Rom 10:9-10; John 3:16).

This is awesome: The Bride is unveiled not by the works of the Law but by the washing of the Water of the Rhema Word (Eph 5:25-27), administered by the HOLY SPIRIT in a washing of renewal and regeneration (Titus 3:5-6), in a reality of grace upon grace (Eph 2:7-10; John 1:16-17) in fulfillment of the Law of the SPIRIT of Life in CHRIST JESUS.

At the highest level, the Law of Life is brought into progressive fulfillment in a Bride for the LAMB. This is why Isaiah 60:1-3 talks about nations walking in the light of our rising.

We walk into this by faith. Everything that we live is predestined in the FATHER’s will to be a living testimony and witness to our faith in YESHUA, by the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen!

GBU as you walk by faith into actualizing the Righteousness of YHWH that will create you to be a Bride for the LAMB.

Arise and shine brethren! This is your destiny by the predestined will of GOD.

By faith GOD will do the miracle He has predestined: to raise a Bride for the LAMB, without spot, wrinkle or blemish from a fallen humanity. Amen!

Thought For The Day (August 31, 2012): We Are Predestined To Be A Bride For The LAMB

All that the FATHER has predestined for us is meant to reveal the Mystery of His Will.

The Mystery of the FATHER’s Will is – exclusively – established and developed in CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT of Promise, in accordance with the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17-18; John 16:14, 13-15).

Ephesians 1:9-14 (NASB) reads: < He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation–having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. >

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NASB) reads: < For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge. >

The Mystery of the FATHER’s Will unveils an astonishing spectrum of realities that we are predestined to actualize – by Promise (2 Cor 1:20; 2 Peter 1:19), through faith – in CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT.

All that YHWH has predestined requires our active and continuous response.

At the highest level we are predestined to be a Bride, in GOD’s Righteousness, manifested through the washing with the water of the Word, in renewal and regeneration by the HOLY SPIRIT:

  • Ephesians 5:25-27 (NASB) reads: < Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. >
  • Titus 3:5 (NASB) reads: < He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior >.

We will actualize this position of being made a Bride, in the Righteousness of YHWH; provided, we respond to GOD in a willingness to be holy and sanctified, in CHRIST JESUS by the HOLY SPIRIT (Rom 8:2). We enter into this reality in a Shabbat-Shalom (Heb 4:9-10) that proclaims the Righteousness of YHWH (Heb 6:19).

The Bride is predestined us be blessed in MASHIAH YESHUA, in heavenly places:

  • Ephesians 1:3-8a (NASB) reads: < Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. >
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB) reads: < He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. >
  • Hebrews 10:14 (NASB) reads: < For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,” He then says, “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” >
  • Hebrews 12:22-24 (NASB) reads: < But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. >
  • We have come to Mount Zion in a new and living Way. Hebrews 10:19-20 (KJV) reads: < Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh >.
  • The veil of His Flesh is manifested in hearts of flesh. 2 Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV) reads: < Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. >
  • These hearts of flesh are circumcised by the HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 2:28-29 reads: < For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God. > See also Hebrews 4:9-10.
  • It is only through a heart circumcised by the HOLY SPIRIT that we will come to love our Husband. Deuteronomy 30:6 reads: < And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. >
  • Two hearts becoming one flesh is the Marriage Covenant consecration. Ephesians 5:29-31 (NKJV) reads: < For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. >
  • Revelation 21:9-11 (NKJV) reads: < Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. > Amen!
  • This is the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of GOD (see Rev 3:14b).
  • This is the Mystery of the FATHER’s will accomplished in a Bride for the LAMB! Amen!

Brethren we enter into all this, by faith in YESHUA MASHIAH, in the glory of GOD’s grace bestowed on us in the BELOVED from the foundations of the world!

Thought For The Day (August 30, 2012): We Need To Position Ourselves In What YHWH Has Predestined

Scripture stands in what YHWH has predestined for us in the Mystery of His Will – in personal, corporate and cosmic terms.

Ephesians 1:8b-11 declares: < … In all wisdom and insight He (the FATHER) made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him (in JESUS CHRIST) with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him (in CHRIST JESUS) also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will >.

What GOD has predestined, in the Mystery of His Will, is exclusively appointed for fulfillment in JESUS CHRIST: “the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth”.

Colossians 1:17-20 reads: < He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. >

There is a personal revelation of JESUS CHRIST that we must pursue, by the HOLY SPIRIT (see Rom 8:2, 1-4; John 6:63; 16:14, 13-15).

Ephesians 1:17-23 points to the fact that the revelation of JESUS CHRIST to our inward parts, ultimately, has cosmic implications: < that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. >

From a personal revelation of JESUS CHRIST in our hearts, there is a dynamic of the call that will open to our hearts, in the surpassing greatness of His power that works within us (see Eph 3:20; Heb 1:3b), so that we will become functioning members of the Body of MESSIAH having a clear understanding that we are predestined to communicate the fullness of YESHUA so that He fills all in all – cosmic terms (Rev 21:10-11; Eph 3:19; Rev 21:22-26; Eph 1:3-10; 3:7-11)!

There is a serious danger today, that many in the church think that power exercised through gifts and anointings are the ultimate purpose of all things.

We must never mix “the tools of the trade” with the essential purpose and destiny of the Church, to be a Bride for the LAMB, so that His Fullness will fill all in all. All the tools of the trade – the anointings and giftings – must be developed as living expressions of MASHIAH YESHUA, or we will misuse them (see Matt 7:21-23).

Isaiah 55:10-13 declares: < “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up, and instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up, and it will be a memorial to the LORD, for an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.” >

We enter into what YHWH has predestined by choosing to: (i) Hear and understand GOD’s Word (Matt 13:23); (ii) Hear and accept GOD’s Word (Mark 4:20); and, (iii) Hold fast to GOD’s Word in a good and honest heart and, choosing to bear fruit with perseverance. We must do this by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (Rom 8:2).

In the New Covenant the Word stands exclusively in the Testimony of JESUS. Without the Testimony of YESHUA there would be no New Covenant (see Jer 31:31-34; Eze 36:25-27; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV; Heb 9:11-15).

The Word understood in the Testimony of JESUS will communicate the Spirit of Prophecy (Rev 19:10c). The Spirit of Prophecy is the inward anointing, arising from CHRIST being formed in us (Gal 4:19; Phil 4:13, 19, NKJV; Col 1:28, 26-29; Eph 3:3-4, 7-11), that will enable us to do all things through CHRIST who strengthens us, so as to actualize the predestined purposes of GOD.

The Spirit of Prophecy is the spiritual DNA for the fulfillment of the Word (Heb 1:3b), YHWH has predestined for fulfillment (Jer 1:11-12).

The Spirit of Prophecy is the life-giving Spirit of JESUS CHRIST (1 Cor 15:45 + Phil 1:19c) that is the Spirit of Holiness (Rom 1:3-4), fulfilling the Law and being invested with resurrection power; the power that works within us to give us exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think (Eph 3:20) according to the counsels of GOD’s will (Eph 1:11) that will fulfill the Mystery of the FATHER’s will (Eph 1:9-10; Rev 10:7). Amen!

Simply put, the Church that is marginalizing the Testimony of JESUS, is beginning to operate in the spirit of error.

Remember Colossians 1:17-18, < He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. > GBU.

Thought For The Day (August 27, 2012): Fulfilling The Law Of CHRIST

Galatians 6:2 reads: < Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. >

The Law of MESSIAH (CHRIST), is made up of the commandments and principles of the New Testament.

All of these commandments and principles in the New Testament that constitute the Law of CHRIST, arise as a consequence of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, in the Testimony of JESUS.

In Matthew 5:17-18 (NASB), YESHUA declares: < “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” >

The Law of CHRIST is actually a demand for perfection (see Matt 5:48, 43-48, NKJV)!

And, this demand for perfection by YHWH is entirely a consequence of YESHUA having fulfilled the Law.

And, this perfection is accomplished (by GOD) as we progressively live by the SPIRIT in CHRIST JESUS and, actualize the Righteousness of YHWH, working in us what is beyond human endeavor.

Hence the New Testament proposition of us being saved by grace (in a new creation), through faith that unveils a new creation in CHRIST JESUS, in the Righteousness of YHWH (Eph 2:7-10).

Romans 8:2 declares that the Law of the SPIRIT of Life, in CHRIST JESUS, has been appointed in the FATHER’s grace, to set us free from the Law of Sin and Death (Rom 8:2).

The intent of the Law of CHRIST is fulfillment of every commandment and principle, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS, so as to accomplish all things in the FATHER’s will.

The fabric of this fulfillment is the actual communication of the Testimony of JESUS – in the substance and witness of JESUS CHRIST – into our inward parts, by the HOLY SPIRIT (see Rev 19;10c; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV; 2 Cor 6-7, NKJV).

The Testimony of JESUS – the spiritual fabric of YESHUA’s Words that communicate His substance and Witness – is communicated by the HOLY SPIRIT, in the Spirit and Life of MESSIAH YESHUA (see John 6:63; Luke 21:33) – into our being.

The FATHER has appointed the fullness of JESUS CHRIST (that fulfills the Law and the Prophets) to fill all in all (Eph 1:23c).

The fullness of JESUS CHRIST is also appointed to reconcile all things – whether things on earth or things in heaven – to the FATHER.

Colossians 1:19-20 (NASB) tells us that: < … it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him (in CHRIST JESUS), and through Him (CHRIST JESUS) to reconcile all things to Himself (the FATHER), having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. >

The reconciliation of all things to the FATHER, through the fullness of JESUS CHRIST, stands in the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets in JESUS CHRIST. The Witness to this reconciliation is the Blood of YESHUA.

And so, the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets (witnessed by Blood) is entirely in the fabric of the fullness of JESUS CHRIST – in His substance (Gk: ‘hupostasis’) and in His witness (Gk: ‘marturia’)!

Since JESUS CHRIST has fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, the Law of CHRIST actually explains the meaning (and the implications) of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets to us. Each commandment and principle in the New Testament is premised on the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

For example: at the highest level, the Law of CHRIST (in Matthew 5:48) makes the following demand on all of us: < “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” >

Since we know nothing of perfection (see Isaiah 55:8-9) and, since the FATHER can only be accessed through the SON (see John 14:6), the reality of being perfect as our heavenly FATHER is perfect, only exists in the substance and witness of YESHUA, which is the fabric of His Fullness, that only the HOLY SPIRIT can communicate into us (see John 16:14)!

Also, the reality of perfection demanded in the Law of CHRIST, stands only on the basis of YESHUA having fulfilled the Law of YHWH given to Moses.

YESHUA has fulfilled the Law in His Nature, His Character, His Witness, His Testimony, His faith, His love, His Righteousness, His Holiness, His Wisdom, His Counsel etc.

John 1:16-17 (NASB/NKJV/KJV) explains this brilliantly.

In Leviticus 19:1-2, YHWH proclaims the highest level of the Law: YHWH demanded that Israel be Holy (Heb: ‘Qadosh’) as YHWH is Holy (Heb: ‘Qadosh’).

YESHUA was raised from the dead and declared to be the SON of GOD with power (see also Heb 1:3b) because His Spirit was found to be the Spirit of Holiness. Understand clearly that only the Spirit of YESHUA is the Spirit of Holiness.

Romans 1:3-4 declares: < concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord >.

And, YESHUA’s Spirit, communicated into the fabric of our being, by the HOLY SPIRIT, is the exclusive basis for the fulfillment of the Law (see 1 Cor 15:45 + Phil1:19c = Spirit of JESUS CHRIST = Spirit of Prophecy as noted in Rev 19:10c).

By the HOLY SPIRIT, the Testimony of YESHUA, ‘His Words’ (see John 6:63 & Luke 21:33), communicate His Spirit and His Life into us; and, manifests the capacities of CHRIST to walk in every commandment and principle of the Law of CHRIST, that flows out of the Ten Commandments. The demands of Matthew 5 are all a consequence of the fulfillment of the Ten Commandments by JESUS CHRIST. For example: ‘Blessed are the pure in heart’ would be an absurdity to any human being (see Jer 17:9) without YESHUA fulfilling the Law.

Romans 8:2, declares that if we live by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS we will actualize the reality of having been set free from the Law of Sin and Death.

So brethren, we must learn to walk by the SPIRIT in CHRIST JESUS and, only then can we fulfill the Law of CHRIST and actualize the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets in our lives as CHRIST is formed in us (Gal 4:19; Col 1:28).

We actualize the capacity to walk in every commandment and principle through the fabric of the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST, perfected and completed –  in us.

Through the Spirit and Life of YESHUA, His substance and His Witness find actual expression in us by the HOLY SPIRIT. In His substance and His witness we are a new creation being manifested in the Righteousness of YHWH.

And, we will progress into being Holy as YHWH is Holy and being perfect as our heavenly FATHER is perfect, as we actualize the substance and witness of JESUS CHRIST, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in a new creation (Eph 2:10; 2 Cor 5:17-17a).

This is the Righteousness of YHWH working in us, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS – through the conduit of our persevering faith in YESHUA (Rom 10:10; 2 Cor 5:21).

So by grace, through faith in YESHUA, through the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT, nothing shall be impossible to us (Matt 17:20)! Amen! GBU.

Thought For The Day (August 25, 2012): Dealing With Our Offenses

In CHRIST JESUS, through the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, we are a people of astonishing potential. The HOLY SPIRIT indwells us so that this awesome potential in CHRIST JESUS is developed, in accordance with the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets..

The enemy understands this and, satan is actively involved in building spiritual strongholds that will prevent our progression into the things of GOD. The enemy does this by cultivating lawlessness within the fabric of our being.

One of the most destructive strongholds that the enemy builds over our lives is the stronghold of offense. Offended people live out of their offenses, instead of living out of the abundance of CHRIST JESUS. Offense is sin.

Others may have sinned against us; but through offense their sin finds actual application in our being!

Our offenses manifest in our thoughts, words, deeds and relationships – in conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious terms. Offended people are hurt and angry people and, hurt and angry people will inevitably hurt others, even those who have had nothing to do with their offenses.

I have seen so many people at all levels of the Body of MESSIAH, including myself, being imprisoned by offense. Offended people become isolated. Offended people also become divisive and destructive because of their pent up rage and anger.

The enemy’s purpose for building any spiritual stronghold is to imprison us, to immobilize us in CHRIST and, prevent us from moving forward into the plans and purposes of GOD. Offended people become hindrances and stumbling blocks to the plans of GOD and to others they are associated with.

We need to get out of all forms of our offenses. Whatever the reasons for our offenses – physical, mental or sexual abuse; discrimination; injustice; manipulation by those in power; being hurt and let down by others; being exploited and used by others; being deprived etc. –  we need to get out of our offenses.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST commands us to get out of our offenses by declaring that we must love and forgive those who have done evil to us.

In Matthew 5:43-48, YESHUA declares the following: < “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. >

In Matthew 6:14-15, YESHUA declares the following: < “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.” >

YESHUA had many valid reasons to be justifiably offended by what He went through during His life and ministry, leading ultimately to His crucifixion. YESHUA chose to love and forgive and, manifest by Testimony an eternal and ever-present reality and actuality by which we each are healed and delivered of/from our offenses.

This is the Witness of the Cross alive in every born again Christian in Spirit, Water and Blood (1 John 5:10a, 7-8, NKJV).

The Scriptures present healing and deliverance in two distinct realities: (i) In predestined terms in the reality of the finished work of the Cross; and, (ii) In present continuous terms as a reality we appropriate by faith through the stripes and wounds of JESUS CHRIST, the scourging of JESUS CHRIST.

1 Peter 2:24 (NASB) presents the foreordained/predestined reality of healing: < and He (YESHUA) Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. >

Isaiah 53:4-5 presents the reality that we are healed by His scourging: < Surely our griefs He (YESHUA) Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. >

We should never deal with issues of our offenses in our own strengths.

We must deal with our offenses by faith in YESHUA, in the finished work of the Cross understanding that the healing and deliverance foreordained stands in the fact that “He (YESHUA) Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross”; and, because of what is foreordained, we must continuously appropriating our healing “by His scourging”.

“By His scourging we are healed” is a reality that stands in the Mystery of CHRIST. His Scourging is a living expression of His faith and love for us. His Scourging releases us from the scourging of our offenses through the spiritual mystery of YHWH’s Shabbat-Shalom manifested into us in the substance and witness of YESHUA.

The Shabbat-Shalom communicates the actuality of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (Rom 8:2).

The Logos Word of the Cross presents to us the foreordained reality of our healing which we must understand (Matt 13:23) and accept (Mark 4:20) and hold fast to in a good and honest heart (Luke 8:15) in the reality of the finished work of the Cross.

The Rhema Word of the Cross unveils in the Witness alive within us, by the HOLY SPIRIT, in Spirit, Water and Blood. In Spirit, Water and Blood, in the faithful and true Witness, stands the Mystery of Healing: “By His scourging we are healed”.

Spirit, Water and Blood is the reality of the power (of YESHUA’s faith, love, forgiveness) that works within us (see Eph 3:20; Heb 1:3b).

In this Witness, energized by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS, we battle our fleshly realities (rising from our past and present offenses) as opposed to what stands in the SPIRIT in the finished work of the Cross.

In the Shabbat-Shalom of YHWH, given to us by the SPIRIT, in MASHIAH YESHUA, we can by faith in YESHUA, appropriate our healing. We must pray as often as is necessary, to ensure that the Shabbat-Shalom of YHWH stands in our inward parts.

When we fail, we repent and get back into the Shabbat-Shalom through prayer and worship. We must forgive those who have offended us and break the yoke of lawlessness.

Tongues are an effective and powerful tool for our application by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS (see Rom 8:2).

GBU in your battle for freedom from offense – by the SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS. Amen!.
