Becoming A Bride For The LAMB (Part 1)

We just completed a 14-part series on “Getting to Grips with the Fullness of JESUS CHRIST”.

In this series on “Becoming a Bride for the LAMB”, we will identify some prophetic keys to the development of the Bride of the LAMB. The central Key to becoming a Bride arises in the Key of David which we will discuss in the course of developing this series on the Bride.

There are many in the Body of MESSIAH who are expecting a Global Revival in the near future.

This series is being developed so that the coming revival will not only be a display of the power to evangelize with signs and wonders flowing from a full array of the power gifts; but, necessarily the revival will concurrently be rooted in the consecration and the maturing of a people of GOD who understand that they need to be set apart unto the LORD to be a Bride for the LAMB.

As YESHUA warned us in Matthew 7:21-23 [NKJV], < 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders [NASB: miracles] in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Something pivotal takes place at the sounding of the seventh trumpet during the period of the tribulation. Revelation 14:15-19 declares: < 15 Then the seventh angel sounded … 19 And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple …. >

Prior to the sounding of the seventh angel, Revelation 10:7 declares: < 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets. >

[Please be reminded that in 1 Corinthians 4:1 we are called servants [ministers] of CHRIST and stewards of the Mysteries of GOD. Developing into stewards of the Mysteries of GOD is part and parcel of the fulfillment of the Prophets.]

The Mystery of GOD being finished [just before the 7th angel sounds] is tied to the Ark of the Covenant appearing in the Temple in heaven [after the 7th angel sounds].

How do we understand the Mystery of GOD being finished?

Colossians 2:1-3 [NKJV] gives us insight on the Mystery of GOD:< 2 that their [our] hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom [that defines every application of the Word of GOD that YHWH Fulfills prophetically – see Jer 1:11-12] and knowledge [that opens in revelatory insights manifested in a prophetic people sealed to be a Bride for the LAMB]. >

The Mystery of GOD being finished is tied to a people “whose hearts are knitted together in love, attaining to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding [Prov 9:10 declares that understanding is knowing the HOLY ONE; this is a knowing in the intimacy of His love perfected and completed into us], to the knowledge of GOD, both of the FATHER and of CHRIST, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom [unveiling the application] and knowledge [unveiling insight].”

This is why Revelation 11:15 reads: < 15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying [proclaiming and declaring prophetically], “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms [NASB: the kingdom] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” >

When a Bride is consecrated in a unity of love [love for the brethren actualized from the heart of YESHUA and, consecrated for a Marriage Union with the LAMB, because of our love for the brethren] then YHWH will destroy evil and will then manifest His rule over the nations with the 2nd coming of the MESSIAH. The 2nd coming of ADONAI YESHUA will herald the actual establishment of the Kingdom of GOD amongst the nations of the earth.

As Revelation 11:16-18 declares: < 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: ” We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.” >

The sounding of the 7th Trumpet will herald the destruction of evil as evidenced in the ‘Bowl Judgments’ that follow after the 7th trumpet. The Mystery of GOD being finished prior to the sounding of the 7th Trumpet proclaims the sealing of the Bride of the LAMB. The appearance of the Ark of Covenant in heaven unfolds an event of humongous prophetic significance: the sealing of a leadership of priests, prophets and kings, in fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant.

The implications of this prophetic event to us, is that we must choose to develop a desire to become a Bride for the LAMB.

But, how exactly do we become a Bride?

The 1st prophetic key to becoming a Bride of the LAMB is to actualize a revelation of YESHUA’s love in our hearts; specifically in hearts of flesh that are circumcised by the HOLY SPIRIT, to manifest the fragrance of YESHUA from our hearts – before the FATHER.

The 2nd prophetic key to becoming a Bride for the LAMB is to express the love of YESHUA towards our brethren in the Body of MESSIAH.

Actualizing YESHUA’s love and then expressing it towards our fellow Christians, across the many barriers of our many divisions, even towards those we have separated from in the past, is the necessary prerequisite to becoming a Bride.

The Law of CHRIST defines some of the demands of JESUS CHRIST over His Bride.

  • In Matthew 5:21-24 [NASB], YESHUA declares: < 21 “You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder‘ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ 22 “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. 23 “Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. > YESHUA is declaring that there is no justification for our offences with/towards our brethren, because we are (definitively) members one of another. In 1 Cor 11:29, we are commanded to “discern the LORD’s Body” prior to the celebration of the LORD’s Supper.
  • In Matthew 5:43-48 [NASB], YESHUA declares: < 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45          that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. >

Please do not see these verses on the Law of CHRIST through Law; but understand that these realities unfold as CHRIST is formed in us – in substance and witness, perfected and completed into us – by the HOLY SPIRIT.

The Law of CHRIST points to what YHWH can accomplish with us as CHRIST is formed in us, through the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT [Ex 31:18; 32:16; 2 Cor 3:3, NKJV; Jer 31:33-34; Eze 36:25-27].

Shalom Brethren. Be blessed to be a blessing! Amen!
